St. John's is a shopping centre in Preston, Lancashire owned bty Ceres estates. Our identity depicts an heraldic shield bearing a maltese cross - the symbol of the knights of St. John at the time of the crusades.
We carried through our identity across shopping centre entranceways, directional and utility signage and introduced the lancashire rose in the wrought iron detailing of the entrance gates.
Our design for the main signage features a curved iron backplate with black diamond shaped rivets, to represent suits of armour. The shield is then projected forward on two square section brass rails. |
